Born and raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Karol Kirberger found much inspiration surrounded by artisans and their creations. Through her mother’s art gallery, Karol was exposed to creativity and craftsmanship from and early age. In 1982, she moved to Buffalo, New York, where she started her jewelry design studio shortly thereafter.
As a sucessful self-taught artist, Karol’s jewelry has always been recognized for its unique style and design. In 1992, her designs received even more acclaim when she became a partner of Wild Things, a gallery and storefront for local Buffalo artisans.
Karol’s jewelry collections feature precious and semi-precious gemstones, fresh-water pearls, sterling silver, and 14-karat gold-filled. These high quality materials add depth and value to her distinct handiwork.
